If anyone cared, here's a little update post just because I haven't posted here in a while.
A few days ago I came out to my mom. It was over text, simply due to the fact I was -- at the time -- still a bit too embarrassed to confront her face-to-face. However, it couldn't have gone better, and it's amazing to say this. Of course at my young age, she brought up the "Well maybe it's just a phase...?" thing, however I assured her I'm confident it's not. Very fortunately, after speaking to her quite a bit, I've started to get more and more comfortable in talking about it. We also did some research and found a sexual health clinic around ~40-ish minutes away from where I live, and as far as I know, the clinic offers referrals to counsellors and therapists, etc. that mostly deal with LGBT issues. I currently have an appointment scheduled with the clinic for around a week from now, and I'm pretty excited.
Anyway, that's pretty much all that's happened. Is there anything specific I should make sure to tell whoever I see in a week? And, do you think it would be better to tell my friends in person, or over text/messaging? I've already told a couple in person and it's went pretty well. Guess I'm just curious to see what everyone else did, and how it went for them.
Thanks~

awesome news that your mom took it well and that you found a clinic not too far away. (https://exterminatus.eu/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
now i haven't come out just yet, but i would suggest telling your counsellor/therapist anything you think they need to know to help them help you. of course, make sure you're comfortable and stuff first. as for your friends, if you're confident enough, do it face-to-face, but if not, i think that texting or messaging could be fine too. if you're on a social media site like facebook or something, you could consider making a general post, but again, that all depends on you and your comfort zone.

Depending on your age and gender, ask them about blockers and testosterone/estrogen! Good luck

Thanks a lot for the reply! I guess I've been subtly hinting at it on facebook, but that's pretty much it, haha.
