Title: He came from a land Down Under.
Post by: Tripdistrans on February 11, 2015, 05:18:09 AM
Hey there,

My name's Riley, aka tripdistrans, and I'm an FtM transguy from Australia.
When I started my HRT, I intended on jumping straight into the online community with a YouTube channel and a blog on Tumblr, however, old friend Dysphoria stuck around for a bit longer than intended.

And now, 14 months later, I'm finally here (halfheartedly) introducing myself!
One of my main focuses online is to help more Australian transguys get information on the process of getting onto HRT, as well as all the lumps and bumps of the surgery process in Australia and general living shisnicks.

As mentioned, I'm fourteen months into my hormone treatment. I started when I was 16 because I got (incredibly) lucky, and I'm yet to have my top surgery, however we're planning on trying to get booked in for June/July this year.

On top of my plans for some online tidbits, I'm currently getting involved with our local service providers to set up a training session for our GPs to learn how to go about getting patients onto HRT, and I'll be putting my two cents in about how to respect the patients as well.

I'm not really one for introductions, but hopefully I'll be able to get into the conversations around and meet some great people.

Over and out,
Riley.

P.S. For those of you on tumblr, my URL is simply tripdistrans.
DISCLAIMER: My blog is 18+, it contains pornography as well as drug content and vulgar language. It may not be suitable for all individuals.

Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder
You better run, you better take cover."

Hi Riley, welcome to Susan's Place! I'm from Boston, we're annexing Australia, but to save money we're waiting until you drift a bit closer!   Good on ya for wanting to help other guys, you're our kind of people! See you around the site!

Look, we've got to be honest, Australians are going to end up taking over the world. We are, after all, pretty rad.

Hey there Devlyn, I wish you all the best of luck with the annexation of Australia. If you get bitten by any of the native species, please remember to make sure your goodbyes are thorough and your will is legible.

Dearest Gerby, thank you very much for such an adorable welcome, and welcome to yourself as well! I've not been here longer either, but it's already been a great experience. :)
