The highly acclaimed principal at the Ulster BOCES Career & Technical Center is undergoing a sex change.
Parents and guardians of the 1,150 students at the center got a letter this week inviting them to a meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the center.

Just how emotional parents get will be determined at today's meeting. Given past cases like this, BOCES shouldn't be surprised if parents are upset. But Leinung stressed that parents shouldn't be frightened by Suraci's decision.
