Hi Everyone,
Not really used to this forum thing so here goes.
Well I was born 14-01-71, I had male & female bits at birth but the surgeons decided to make me a boy. Annoyingly over the next few years as they tore out my womanhood non of these "numb nuts" surgeons ( :icon_chainsaw: ) checked to see if I was viable as a male.
Between then and now I guess I've been doing what most of us here did before we opened the door to our true selves. You know what I mean, Going nuts, hating myself, looking in the mirror and seeing a stranger, drinking, taking drugs, self-harming, making really bad life choices, Knowing I'm a woman inside, doubting I'm woman inside, going back to knowing I'm woman inside again, hurting everyone around me and not being able to tell them why and generally been unhappy and being a right pain in the arse for everyone around me.
Came out last year on my birthday, big party, :icon_birthday:, 40 friends & family, 15 minutes before my speech I nipped out put on make-up, a bit of lippy :icon_lips:, popped on my falsies, nice blouse and skirt. 8 o'clock went out stood on my chair and told them all that 42 year old John was now (Legally) 43 year old Heather. :icon_yikes: :icon_yikes: :icon_yikes:
I always thought I'd lose touch with 30-50% of my friends & family but I was totally wrong. The only bad thing that happened was a wife of a good friend decided I wasn't fit to be around her children anymore, said I was a freak and a pervert.
The best things so far are getting a 38B bust in 17 months at my age, having nice soft hairless skin and of course being able to cry. Oh and being HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY.
Finding out that I have so many beautiful sisters & brothers out there is the most wonderful thing. I Love you all, short & Tall, Thin & Wide and all colours of the rainbow. Love and electronic hugs for the lot of you. :icon_bunch: :icon_bunch: :icon_bunch:

Thank you Mariah and V M. For the first time in my life I feel I'm travelling to a future in my life not just drifting. I hope it goes well, I had to sell my house and cash in my savings to do this thing. With my surgery in August I've spent £75000 already.
Mariah, Just wanted to ask you a question. Before I started HRT I only felt half a woman, the hormones seemed to me to complete my understanding. I always thought of it as my brain being a petrol engine being fed diesel (testosterone) and not working right and now my brain is running on good old estrogen and everything's running fine. Was this how you felt?
Thanks for the welcome Babe's.

Your welcome Heather, I don't think I would have exactly described it that way in the sense I didn't feel like half a women, but I also started full time before starting HRT. HRT only solidified what I already knew and once the body switched fuels it was really a night and day difference. Hormone switch was like having a fog lifted off of me. It did always feel like the wrong fueled had been in my body before HRT though.

Thanks Flower. We call everyone "Flower" in Yorkshire. In Halifax Men & Woman call each other "Love".
I get a bit long winded, You've put it way better than me, "Lifting the fog from my mind" that very poetic, really quite beautiful.
XH.

Hi Heather
He he he, when I moved to Yorkshire many moons ago I was rather bemused at being called flower. Back then I was anything but pretty, luv! How times change! I do miss Halifax and the gorgeous view over the Calder valley, sniff! But now if anyone calls me flower I'd not be too upset, quite the opposite :D
Welcome to Susan's. I hope you have some great and meaningful interaction here.
Hugs
Julia (who now lives nowhere near Yorkshire!)

Hey, Heather~ Thank you for being the first person to welcome me. I wanted to return the favor and post in your introduction thread, too. :)
The flower thing is so cute! I'd never heard that before. Can I be an honorary Yorkshire girl and steal that?

Hi Sunderland,
Of course you can, I think its a beautiful term of endearment to use in MtF sections. We lose our "orchids" and become Flowers.
LUV & HUGS for everyone :icon_bunch: :icon_bunch: :icon_bunch: :eusa_clap:

Hehe. :)
I think it will probably be a while before I lose mine, but I'm glad to see that it won't be much longer for you. Make sure to take good care of yourself during recovery, sweetie.

Thank You Sunderland,
It Means a lot to me. I'm so excited about it, never had a sexual relationship yet, it is not the intimacy, that wonderful, just the male genitals bit, felt like driving on the wrong side of the road only 100x stronger, I just have no instinct for it. At 44 years old, the moment the surgeons give me the okay I'm out on the hunt. I already a real cute guy called Adam, 26, who's game for a weekend in the bridal suite at the Hilton. :icon_bunch:-- :icon_censored:
Luv & Hugs to you :icon_bunch: and everyone else. :icon_bunch: :icon_bunch: :icon_bunch:
