Just bring a good attitude, be an open book and tell nothing but the truth. They are there to help where help is needed.
Big Los Angeles hugs,

Just an update, I had a very good experience at the LA LGBT Center. They were all very nice and helpful, so I ended up switching my pcp to them. My only complaint is the long wait for an appointment with an endo, its basically a 1 month wait which I'm sure is not that bad but I'm impatient and very excited about starting hrt.

I'm glad it's working well for you Ginny. I was just there last Friday for the group meeting, even though I live 3hrs away, I was in West LA for my bi-weekly electrolysis appointment, and decided to just stick around town. It was my first chance to really get out an socialize, as I'm still discovering myself.
As for a long wait, I had a 6 week lead time for my initial consultation, and an additional 8 weeks for my follow on. April 16th, I'm hoping my follow on includes a perscription, or two. Get you labs done, and good luck.
Hugs,
-Alana

I have always been treated very nicely down at the L.A. LGBT center.
Congrats on moving along with your transition - a month is really not that long to have to wait in the overall scheme of things. Before long you'll be on HRT and will be experiencing the wonderful things it does :)
