This was rather strange, but I am delighted!
I just shaved my face for the first time as I have been told by several people that having the 'peach fuzz' that most Pre-T transmen have actually makes them look more feminine.
Now, I am a naturally very hairy person (when I eventually get on T I'm going to be a god-damn bear) so I had very thick, black hair on my upper lip and a few on my cheeks and under my chin. But it still was obviously feminine hair.
So, I gave it a go and shaved it all off and... I actually look more masculine without it. I promise you this isn't wishful thinking, I genuinely look more masculine (well, more androgynous than usual) without the hair.
As said, strange... But I am delighted.
Has anyone else found this works for them? Or have you not tried it?

When I was pre-t, once I decided to start living male full time, that was the first thing I did :)
I agree, it works well for making your face look less soft and feminine. Congrats, I'm glad you're happy with the results!

I dunno if shaving off my peach fuzz (I had a few darker hairs on my upper lip too) help me to pass more or not. But it did make me feel amazing! There's just something so man-ly about seeing yourself in the mirror with shaving cream on your face. I shave about once a week now. Even though you can't see any of the hairs, I get a little prickley around my lips and chin when it comes back in. And shaving helps me feel like I'm doing something while I'm pre-T.

Shaving my blond peach fuzz didn't really make me look different, but it felt good.

I find it just makes me look clean er. Knut I've seen it can make guys both cis and trans look more masculine. Good to see it works for you!

I don't really have peach fuzz per se. Facial hair is coming in black.

Idk if it is something that actually makes you look noticeably more masculine, but the act of shaving makes you feel more masculine and you present yourself more confidently and confidence helps you get read as male more. So in a way you're correct:)

I tried it once, and if nothing else, it at least felt better.
Really nice experience, to feel stubble under your fingers, even if small :)

I have got so much fluff on my face and neck but I am way too scared to shave it off. I'm just terrified of going back to having a baby face, and now that I've cut my hair with the sides shaved down, I really don't want to shave off my sideburns. :/

I've just recently come out as Trans and I've always had annoying prickly black hairs that I used to pluck from my neck, chin and jaw line. Well yesterday I decided I would start shaving and it felt amazing! Not sure how much more masculine it made me look but it made me feel more masculine and handsomely fresh! :)
