Title: Sperm bank after HRT possible
Post by: Joanna317 on March 03, 2015, 11:07:36 PM
Hello, so today I just got my estrodial patches in, and before using them really got me thinking about banking my sperm for the future. Everything kind of happened so quickly that now I have the hormones and am wondering should I wait and freeze my sperm first. Or is it possible to start with the patches today and still go to the cyrobank sometime this week? There is no anti-androgens yet, just estrodial patches because it will be my first time on HRT. Any advide would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

It varies but you are probably looking at least a few months before you are sterile.

I was dosed on a high dose pellet HRT regimen and went to the cryo bank 5 days later. I was worried as heck because pellets are supposed to be the most effective and fastest acting form of HRT

I ended up giving them a record setting sample ;)

You are probably gonna be fine!

Just to be sure, I would store my sperm first and then begin HRT.

I agree with Kay. Better safe than sorry!
