Okay, so I finally told my best friend that I feel transgendered and she was really accepting!! It has taken me a few months of comptemplating and several weeks of serious thought, but I believe I am a mtf transgender.

Hello, congratulations :) Hope you feel a lot better by it, I know I didn't feel too great when I did as neither people really accepted me. If you want we can maybe talk sometime, kind of looking for more people to talk to from here. :P

The good news is once someone knows you don't have to tell them again! With that behind you you can both move forward. I just came out to my sisters at 53, they've had a long time to get used to me being male. I wonder if the reaction to the news is different based on age.

Good for you! I'm sure that you gave it great thought and deliberation, knowing that you could lose a friend. He/she must be a very good friend to support you.
