It seems clear from these bills, and the lack of thought or understanding behind them, that we continue to need real visibility and understanding of transgender people.

The US Commission on Civil Rights had a series of panels today regarding ENDA, and the Texas and Florida bills came up frequently. If no media outlets do a write up on it I can, because I have like 16 pages of notes. Though I will say listening to it raised my blood pressure significantly :eusa_wall:

It depends on where we are most visible at, seems lately, its the locker room. Not exactly helpful to keeping down those anti trans bills. I don't know, just seems to me that the more people know about our existence, the more they seem to want to make sure they put us in our place.

Yes, now that the efforts to marginalize every other group who isn't straight, white, Christian and male are failing miserably, the only group left to concentrate on are those pesky transgender Americans who have been getting all uppity lately.
Guess what, haters? The flood gates are about to open.
