Title: VFS with Yeson
Post by: Melissa Forever on March 26, 2015, 11:24:36 PM
Hey All,

So my surgery is all book for Yeson at the end of April and I am getting all my travel documents together. I stumbled across medical visa's and I am wondering if anyone who went to Yeson had to get one? I am in Canada if that makes a difference.

Thanks,
Melissa

Why would you need a Visum? As far as I know most Western countries have an agreement with Korea to allow travellers a stay of several weeks without visum. Or is it something you need for your employer or health insurance?

Hey anjaq,

No one has explicitly told me I need a medical visa, but I came across it on the Korea consulate website and now it has me worried. I am trying to get a hold of the consulate so that I can know for sure. This post is more to see if anyone in from Canada or the US has gotten a medical visa to go to Yeson.

Thanks,
Melissa

I don't know of anyone here who needed one.

I plan on just carrying my US passport and getting a visa upon entry.
