"The Trans Manifesto, launched today by the LGBT Consortium, aims to draw attention to the areas where trans individuals face inequality."
"The manifesto and online forum, launched today, allows users to view which candidates have indicated their support for the Trans Manifesto, and those who have declined it. The manifesto - which includes reviewing the decade-old Gender Recognition Act - is the result of conversations between 15 UK trans groups and was launched to draw politicians' attention to areas where trans individuals face inequality."

Why on Earth did they have to call it a "Manifesto"?
Every thing I've ever read called a "Manifesto" was easily dismissed as the ramblings of a lunatic. That's not what we needed.
At least they didn't call it a "Trannifesto".
/snark

Actually I like it a lot. I wish we could do something like that in our country.
The most glaring omission, I'd say, would be the right of children to choose their gender presentation and identifying the practice of forcing children to present in a way that doesn't match their gender identity as child abuse (or at least bad parenting).
