Title: Your Boobs ( If you have them)
Post by: debisl on August 29, 2007, 02:53:01 PM
Has anyone noticed or not noticed your boobs?

I guess what I mean is do you notice them during the day or at night durring your normal routine? I use to notice them all the time and would go out of the way to show them off when I was out and about. I am asuming I was like a kid with a new toy years ago. I really don't find my self doing that anymore. I guess I am at ease with myself.

I don't know what I am trying to say here. Are there any GG's that use to know where their boobs were all the time. Were you aware of what they were doing to a guy, etc????

When mine started growing, I was excited and so on. I know GGs who were like this when they started growing.

Day to day I don't really pay attention to them, unless they hurt or are itchy (they are still growing). They can get annoying at times, because I'll bump into things with them, and when I worked at the liquor store carrying boxes sucked because my boobs would get in the way. When I'm out to a club, however, I find that they make great pockets for putting things in, like money.  ;D

I don't think many GGs pay attention to there boobs unless they are getting in the way of things. I live with 3 GGs, and none of them pay attention when doing normal things.

What do you mean, Deb?  Are you talking about the  many times we bumped our boobs against doors, tables, walls, etc because we were not used to having them?

As far as size, they never became as large as I wanted them to, so I had to get saline implants.  Needless to say I had to get used to the idea of having large breasts for the very first time in my life, and yes, I did bump them a few times as well.  Ouch!

Nowadays, I hardly look at them.  There are some people who believe that
post-ops tend to grow an extra cup after SRS; well, I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary (yet).

I was just wondering if you just get so use to them you start to ignore them and forget they are there just like any other body part. I tend not to think about them in my day to day life. When I go out that is another story. I am self-conscious of them.

That is all I was saying

I know GGs who do this. Probably not as much as I do, but I'm also a klutz.

I get what you are saying. Day to day routine stuff, they are just there and it is no big. At certain other times though, it is nice to show off the figure. I do this when I go to fetish events. They even draw the occasional `even with your boobs smashed with the corset you are bigger than me' statements.  ;D

Oh and I have not been above slightly bouncing on my heels to make them wiggle a bit in order to get something that I want. I did not pay for a lunch or dinner for months.  ;)

I hardly think of mine, although I do tend to notice them when I take my shirt off.  Also, sometimes when wearing certain shirts and I happen to look down, they can catch my eye.  Other than that, I hardly think about them.  I'm a 34D right now so they are definitely something that are hard to not notice at least some time during the day.

Myself, I've had them since 18 years ago, but they were small (less than B) for 17 year of these and I didn't really think about them. But, now at 36C after 1 year, I do notice them and just cannot believe it, I sometimes smile just looking down :-). I guess that will stop eventually (when they'll sag to my knees in old age HAHA :-).

I am not very voluptous but I take great care of them.  I examine them weekly to feel for nodules & baby them with special creams and oils to keep them soft and supple.
I presume I give them too much attention.  I havent forgotten they are there.  Could I ever?

I would notice them a lot less without the little tennis balls inside... every time I want to sleep on my tummy (like every night for the past twenty years), I am painfully reminded that I don't do that anymore!

QuoteAre there any GG's that use to know where their boobs were all the time.

............. Ok, while I'm trying to remain somewhat neutral about my gender (I'm bigendered) I'll have to say: NO GG'S FORGET WHERE THEIR "BOOBS" ARE.

That's ridiculous. From age 10- to whatever, they feel like rocks covered in raw nerve endings. Horrible pain. They hurt when you take a step. When you walk or run. Even with "B" cup tits I cannot run. With now "G" cup tits and a proper support system I can finally run like I couldn't when I was 11 and older. I cannot believe that women growing tits could forget where they are.  ???

... PS: I'll be offline soon, and for ages, so no doubt my account will be "purged." Cyas.

It's hard not to notice when a guy (or girl) will talk to your chest and not your face... Which does happen to me on occasion...  Do I notice my boobs?  Well... heres the funny thing... No I didn't... I didn't pay attention to how much they got bashed around, bumped into etc etc untill I got my nipples pierced LOL.. Then it's like "HI!  We're your boobs and we're HERE!!"  You feel -every movement- for several weeks... hehehehehe

My reply to this is somewhat trite... but hey-ho here it is.

Being female my breasts are part of my femininity. Like many women I want to feel comfortable with not only the perception of myself but also with how others perceive me. I do not have an over-active awareness of my breasts they are just one aspect of the woman. I get up in the morning, do the bathroom, put on a bra, adjust and then dress; thereafter I simply get on with the day. I am confident with my bust-line be it that I am covered up or showing a little cleavage, there is not a conscious element involved just a subliminal knowing that I do have a feminine body; and that is wonderful.

The first few months I looked in the mirror on a daily basis to see if anything was happening. ::)
Now, I'm an A cup and every once and a while I put on a snug fitting Tshirt and go to the store just to see if I get any reaction from people. I do get some looks, most of the time people just kind of stare at my chest. That basically confirms that they are growing and are becomming noticable. :)
Itching and some growing pains remind me that they're there. Sometimes I knock them against something or my dogs jump up and hit them with their paws, that causes some discomfort. OUCH!  :o Running down stairs, driving on bumpy roads or anything that causes that little bounce, also causes a little pain.
I would say Yes, I'm quite aware that I do have them. Maybe in time I might not notice them so much, but right now it's kind of exciting! ;D

What I'm noticing is that I need to get a more supportive bra.

So I went out to Target yesterday and got one.  This is three firsts for me:  first underwire, first padded bra, first demi-bra.  Fits very well.  Will need to get a picture.

....I have very little breast growth after 7 years of HRT.....
they seem to look bigger than they actually are in my pic and it depends on what top I wear.....the purple one seems to make them look bigger...

They are also a funny shape and not like like female breasts..

Boobs are the definitive identifier of the female gender (societal observation on my part).  Like all the other societal brainwashing we've had, we don't really spend a lot of time analyzing why boobs are the obsession of so many, we are too busy obsessing.  ;)

Like just about every other transwoman I know, when my boobs started to grow I was excited and made a point to check up on them with great regularity.  :o

They are probably done growing now as I haven't seen any noticeable change in about a year.  Still, there are times I'm acutely aware of them.  And there are times I don't even think about them.

But when I'm getting dressed to go out I find myself wanting to show them off.  In my mind they negate some of the male markers.  So I wear low cut tops when it's not inappropriate.  I have noticed however that since I've started down the road to GRS I've been focusing on them a bit more.  Maybe it's a confirmation of sorts that this is really to going happen.  I can't say for sure.  But it's part of the mental image I have of myself once I'm post-op.

Back to the question... when they were growing I noticed every little thing.  Now that I've had them for a while that awareness has diminished quite a bit.

Julie

I first got saline implants and then went to silicone a year later that was a huge difference. Although after my orchi I did see some more growth but not a full cup size. Now they are just a part of me and get more comfortable every day. Oh yes I still like to show them off (36C)

I was told that the itchyness comes from the skin streching and expanding. A good moisturizer could help with that problem, :) and the application of the lotion gives a massage effect which could help stimulate growth. ;D

There is so much truth to massaging them. When I was in school all of my GG friends use to say  (when a girl with big boobs passed) girl look at her boobs! Someone has been playing with them. Truth or fable, it sure couldn't hurt.

Do I notice mine?

Yes, at least once a month in the shower i make it a point to notice them and whether or not I feel anything different within them than I had felt the month before.

If you have F cups or -AAA cups you should be doing at least a monthly breast-exam. in fact, until you get used to the way they feel, you should probably do daily or weekly breast-exams.

Otherwise, I notice them when I want to. I no longer obsess with them the way I did when they were first sprouting! But, then again, most teenage girls outgrow that phase as well. *smile*

I have a boob job lined up but I am dissapointed in the poor results gained from hormones in 7 years and I was nieve in thinking they might produce good results. It's now all down to seeking various surgery in order to create some kind of female shape. I need liposuction to the waist but I still don't know how to gain fat in my lower part of my body (butt). So far I have only male type fat distribution.

Yes,Lisbeth is right, I would checkout all options before going for surgery. There could be a problem that you're not responding to the hormones very well.

It's nothing to do with doses.....some people DO NOT DEVELOP female fat distribution no matter what the dosage is. I've been on  high doses, so high my prolatin went through the roof... and tried low doses and most hormones and anti -androgens...

i know, i've said this before, (why do i always have to say the same things over and over?)...but i have been trying to augment my HRT by adding correct dosages of amino acids and specific vitamins to help stimulate a normal amount of Human Growth Hormone production within the pituitary. word is, that as people continue on past their 20's, it's "normal" for HGH production to slow down substantially, and nearly stop around the mid 40's.

Vitamin guru Earl Mindell (of The Vitamin Bible fame) says that proper dosages of the correct vitamins and amino acids can allow a person in their 50's the ability to get HGH levels at about the same rate as a person in their 20's. i know it sounds crazy, but i don't write this stuff, i'm just passing along what i've come across in my reading.

The preceding was not intended as medical advice. Please consult your physician before starting up or changing your dietary supplement regimen.

i know, i've said this before, (why do i always have to say the same things over and over?)...but i have been trying to augment my HRT by adding correct dosages of amino acids and specific vitamins to help stimulate a normal amount of Human Growth Hormone production within the pituitary. word is, that as people continue on past their 20's, it's "normal" for HGH production to slow down substantially, and nearly stop around the mid 40's.

Your kind of in the right area Ell and I know what you are talking about.....it's worth trying...

You see Berliegh! Like Elle said! I think I mentioned that once before too.
I also have that book by Earl Mindel, plus it's mentioned in many other books. It's also mentioned many times on the net. Just google : " growth hormone releasers" and more info. will pop up than you'd want to read. ;D

I have nice little B boobs.  I wanted bigger but I am pleased for small favors.

I only present male and sometimes guys stare at my chest.

September 17th was the first time I wore a sports bra in public.  Now I even wear a sports bra to bed.  This is the first time in two years my boobs do not hurt and all the bruises can heal!  I can even sleep on my stomach with a sports bra!  I needed a sports bra for over one year.

When my boobs first started growing I examined them every 10 minutes.  Now I examine them every evening when I take a shower.  I do wonder if I lose weight if they will get smaller.  My chest has shrunk two inches so that my boobs seem bigger even though they are about the same size.

Yes, a friend and I heard about this sometime ago and growth hormones could be the answer in triggering the receptors to work again. Usually after puberty
the stage is set so to speak and if you think of it in terms of a tormato, once it's grown you can't change it....growth hormones may have some properties that could do the job..

If you lose weight, your breast will also decrease.
I've been stalled at a small 36C for 6 months because I lost a LOT of weight (25 pounds, I'm 160 pounds and 6 feet) and also some of my pectoral muscle at the same time they were stimulated to grow.

If I had those extra 25 pounds I'd surely be at 36D by now!!

Many TS who report quick breast growth are slightly deluding themselves because they are almost always sporting quite a few extra pounds. My best male friend by that token would be a B or C cup already just because he's overweight!!

What is he / she going to say? not much they can do about it as I've tried just about every hormone and anti - androgen in existance....

I know we can't discuss dosages here, but I would find someone else to compare dosages with, just to see if you are in the same ballpark. I have heard of a few doctors that only prescribe really tiny dosages, almost as if they don't want anything to happen...

It's nothing to do with doses.....some people DO NOT DEVELOP female fat distribution no matter what the dosage is. I've been on  high doses, so high my prolatin went through the roof... and tried low doses and most hormones and anti -androgens...

As much as you complain Berliegh, judging by your pictures you seem to have breasts (it seems like at least a B cup) and look female.  Strike me a little confused  ???  If you were expecting huge breasts, you were destined to be disappointed.

I went from flat to an A cup in a couple of months.  I weighed 149 lbs at 5'9", and I have not gained much weight since I started.  Its been a little over 3 1/2 months and I am a full A.
People did not believe me at first.  But that kind of changed when they saw me.  They are still growing.  It is pretty painful off and on.

I got to a near-A within a few months or so I guess, but then everything kinda just STOPPED there. I've made some progress since then, but it's nothing like that first burst of development.

Have any of you stopped growing... then spontaneously started again later on?

A cup in a few months is frequent.
The thing is an A cup is like 6-10 time less volume than a B cup,
so getting to A is much easier than getting to B, and C and so on.
Its a half sphere, the longer the projection, the bigger the volume to fill.
That's why people think they've stalled when in fact they're still growing, its just not as spectacular than 0 to something, its something to something more.

I've been on the "pill" for 7 months, I don't think they are growing that much. I am kind of disappointed. I don't even think i can fill an A cup.

Clothing is deceiving.......in my pic it looks like I've got a fair bit of breast tissue but I'm fairly flat chested. The top is quite flattering and makes it lok like I have more than I actually have..

What are you a full A or B?
Honestly that is the most development many TS (and honestly GG too) get Berleigh.  If you were expecting something in the C to D range you were honestly setting yourself up for disappointment.  I know alot of transwomen who think they are flat chested at a B and it really makes me wonder what they are complaining about.  Its a dangerous self perception.

Honestly I have seen many photos of you, and I am trying to grasp your complaints, the reality is you are one of the best looking woman I have seen.  If anything your expectations for HRT may have been set too high.

Just about an A cup. I don't wear a bra as it's hard to find one small enough and If I do wear one it seems to look worse..

Thanks for the compliment Amy. I looked exactely the same before I started on HRT (I'll post some pre-HRT pics) and although I looked feminine facially long before HRT I still haven't been able to get any female fat distribution. You can hide a lot of it with clothes but I don't really have the right shape. My non T friends keep suggesting I go on HRT as I don't look any different to how I looked before to them..

Marks & Spencers is your friend if you're small.  They do a good range of AA cup bras (padded and unpadded) up to 36AA (though you'd probably have more luck using their website than in store).

Of course that's assuming that they are perfect hemispheres--seldom the case--but if V = ⅔∙π∙r³ each breast would be:

A: 2 cubic inches, weighing 1 oz
B: 16.75 cubic inches, weighing 8.7 oz
C: 56.5 cubic inches, weighing 1.8 lbs
D: 134 cubic inches, weighing 4.35 lbs
DD: 261.67 cubic inches, weighing 8.5 lbs

Go to your local sporting goods store and pick up some hand weights.  It's no wonder DDs cause back problems.

I've already introduced myself, though I'm still fairly new around here. It would always get pried off during parties and that sort when the other "guys" would try to throw me into the pool.. I'm still not living as I wish to, but I strongly identify as a girl, even though socially I am still looked at as a man.

When I transition 20years ago I never was happy with my small boobs, after my SRS I found they didn't improve so I had saline implants which never felt right, 5years ago I went to South Africa and had them replaced by silicone which I found are firmer and more natural, Im now a 36D and I'v never looked back, its amazing what bigger boobs do for your posture and confidence, before I never felt confident wearing low necklines, nowdays I can wear tops in the past I could only dream about, when I go out with friends I love a low neckline to show off my cleavage, why hid your assets, men in particular do chat to my boobs lol, Im happy I went bigger, Im going to a friends 40th Birthday next week and bought a new outfit for it last Saturday, a below the knee black dress with shoulder bow straps with a very low neckline, it just about covers my nipples but my cleavage will be on display, its part of my femininity, my boobs are now part of me, they where expensive and worth all the effort, thats why I love showing them off, am I vain, I don't care, call it vanity, its made a big difference to me as a woman

Strangely enough, before HRT, I thought 36C would be big, but now, it doesn't really feel that big. Though when I look it the mirror they really stick out. Strange how a change of perspective changes things.
