Interim Executive Vice President and Provost Jerry Strawser said in a memo that he accepts the recommendations of the WGERC committee, which formed in the spring to investigate the effectiveness of the center. In July, the committee recommended that the center be split into two centers, one for women's resources and one focusing on lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender students.
