Title: Cheap STP

I posted this on my tumblr but I dont really get any notice there so will post it here too
Just posting about it incase it is of use to anyone else
I had tried all the different styles of STPs and none of them work for me at all. They all leak everywhere and were just unusable for me, no way I could even risk using them in public. I came across this one and decided to try it anyway and it has been the only one that works for me

It is also very cheap at 99p (or just over $1 on ebay.com) with free shipping. It ships from china so it can take several weeks to arrive
It has leaked a few times but I think that was down to user error not the product itself. My very first time using it it worked perfectly. Its been great for me. I can use urinals in public and not overly worry about any problems. The ones I have had luckily were at home. Never had a problem with it in public. I cant really fault it for use or price. It does what you need it to do and for the price it is certainly worth trying if you have trouble using other styles of STP or just cant afford them. For like $1.11 with free shipping its not much of an investment and has been more than worth it for me
There are of course some cons to it as you can imagine. It is just an STP, it cannot be used with packing so if I intend to use this in public when Im out I cant use a packer as it will be in the way of using this. You could but you'd have to switch it out before using it. It also cant really be kept in underwear so when I go to the bathroom I have to go into a stall first and sort it out with position before I go to a urinal. Thats just incase another guy comes in while Im doing that. Also means it needs to be taken out after use. I just zip up and wash my hands and stuff if another guy is around and wait for him to leave before I do so though, or go into a stall and take it out. The last con is it wont of course pass at a urinal if it is seen. I am wary of using urinals for these reasons and only do so when its quiet and I get time before someone else comes in. If it was a busy bathroom then I'd go in a stall and stand rather than risk the urinal
Sum up cons:
Advantages:
Certainly would recommend this to anyone. Particuarly for the price, why not give it a try. Not much to lose. Especially if other STP designs dont work for you as was the case for me, finding something that works and you feel confident using can make a lot of difference
If you are interested here is a link to it on ebay, if you can ignore all the triggering terminology (as it is aimed at women): Here (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Female-She-Wee-Ladies-Woman-Urinal-Urine-Funnel-Camping-Festivals-Travel-New-J-/111474689369?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_2&hash=item19f468c559)
I managed to get the last orange one, they arent being made anymore apparently. I was put off by the feminine lavendar and pink colours but if it works then its still worth it if you can deal with it
Also been planning on trying to adapt this with a packer to overcome the packing issue and worrying about how it looks at the urinal but not got to finishing it yet. Not sure it will actually work but trying it anyway. Can get back here later with whether that works or not

Actually looks like a transmission fluid funnel. You can buy these at your local auto zone, pep boys, walmart, etc. etc. They come in boy colors like blue, red, black. They work excellently well every time and also don't splash. They are cheap (under $4). They are hard to carry though. Not at all stealthy. Would work if you use a messenger bag or something.

I looked around stores for anything I could use but couldnt find anything that would work. There was those type of funnels in automotive sections but they are hard plastic and I wouldnt want to be using that. There are probably similar type funnels but I would take into account the material and how it is shaped for forming a decent seal
This is made for this purpose and cheap, works great. I dont know if you can buy similar in stores there though, you have different places in the US than we have in the UK. This is silicone so its not hard plastic that could hurt and be downright awkward to use, its soft enough I just put it in a zip lock bag and fold it into my pocket. I use the bag incase there is traffic around and I dont want to be washing it out at the sinks so I can put it back in my pocket without getting anything on my clothes. Easy to carry it around in a pocket or bag

Quote from: Jay....transmission fluid funnel.
One of the metal ones, the kind with the flexible hose that looks like old-style electrical conduit, would be sort of kinky.

The automatic transmission fluid funnel is hard plastic. It's easy to use but very hard to figure out how to carry. I've used it for hiking. Kind of foolproof. Can't imagine using metal, LOL.

Don't you find it to be rather embarrassing and uncomfortable to use either an STP or packer at the urinal if you are standing next to another guy?

Why should I be embarrassed using a method that lets me go how I was supposed to. Its them that should be embarrassed looking at another guy. As I said if it was a busy place/time I wouldnt use a urinal, I would stand in a stall instead away from them. I only use a urinal with this when its quiet enough to not be bothered by anyone else

I always felt uncomfortable standing next to another guy at a urinal and avoided doing so when ever I could. However, I no longer have that problem as I have sat for over 17 years.

I won't use the urinal if the only option is to go right next to someone, unless the stalls are taken. But that's got nothing to do with the stp, it's personal space. I find it dumb how close urinals are to each other in some places.
First time seeing this stp. Looks like it would work and maybe be a good back up stp.

Even if I was cis I wouldnt stand right next to another guy. Its etiquette to have at least one between you unless there is no option. Preferrably I'd have at least 10 between us or just me there on my own lol. Partly confidence, partly I just dont want to be near people (especially in a bathroom)
This stp works well for me and for $1 cant really go wrong. Can carry it in your pocket. Im glad I came across it when nothing was working for me. Been wanting to try the new reel magik stp but for the same reason ive been unsure of it also not working for me. With how much it costs I couldnt spend all that to have something I cant use. Wary of it when I've had problems with every stp setup i've ever tried apart from this simple one

Unless it's an STP packer, I don't think you can use at a urinal (unless it's a private stall or you know it to be empty). I've heard of people using small STPs (like a medicine spoon) at urinals. These people have a throughly down and can do it really quickly. Not something I could do. But you can use in a stall and feet will face the right way. Also some people find it less dysphoric to stand to pee. I definitely do, though I am not entirely good at STPs and have to use tp.
There are urinals with dividers too. I've seen them occasionally.
Always be careful and safe. (Daddy comment for the day. :) )

I have the same STP, but of course its in the beautiful girly lavender color XD I actually have no trouble using it at a urinal even if there is other guys in the bathroom, I just sort of lean in closer to it so that they can't see my wonderful purple funnel. I've been trying to figure out how to use it with my packer, but so far been pretty unsuccessful, so I'll probably just end up making a baby bottle nipple stp to go with my packer unless some genius out there figures out a way to use this with a packer.

I have that lovely one too :P True you can use it around others depending on the type of urinal. Some you can lean right in so no one else could see. Others are completely open, some even have no proper dividers between them. I've come across many different types of urinals it can be quite interesting lol. If its the type that allows you to lean in then yes you could use this and not worry about it being seen. If its a completely open one though then it can be a problem if you are worried about others looking/seeing it. They shouldnt be looking there anyway, its just a worry really. Even if they did they are unlikely to say anything. Glad it works for you. I dont think this will work with a packer really from what I've done with it. Not finished it yet as I need another plastic bolt to hold the tubes together but I can try finish it anyway and see what the result is. I dont think it would sit right as a packer with how the receptacle sits on this. If the back of a packer could be dug out and the receptacle fit into that so it sits properly it could work but I dont see a packer that would work for that
