I started my E and Spiro on feb 27th and for the last week I have been feeling like the nerve endings on my skin are super charged. For the most part I like it, I'm feeling quite girly. But, my skin kind of hurts a little sometimes, it's very sensitive. Does this calm down after a while or will I get used to it? BTW, I also feel less self conscious and am LOVING that.

Gosh I don't think I've heard of that side effect before (super sensitive skin). Does it feel that way everywhere?

I know several people who have noticed more skin sensitivity on HRT especially their breasts and that includes me. Changes to the integumentary system are complex and some have suggested we sort of loose a layer of skin. I like the increased sensitivity in many ways and the sensitivity of my breasts comes and goes but continues after more than two years on HRT. I can't wear any but the softest wool;-)
