Hello everyone. About 4mo away for me, but i was wondering what type of pad you use after surgery? And if it changes the further you get in the healing process? I know not to use Tampons already, thanks to another post ^-^
Options:
Maxi Pads
Ultra Thin Pads
Liners
(Any additional that i do not know about)
P.S. If you have tried multiple brands, which do you prefer?

I bought a bunch of maxi pads but ended up using just liners; I was lucky enough not to need more. I believe they were the Carefree extra long, but I no longer remember how/why I picked those - I only know that's what it likely was b/c I still have half a box lying around.

I've been using Poise size 2 liners. They're for urinary incontinence but I like their anti-odor properties.

I have lots of leftover pads too, the first few weeks after surgery pad is what you need. But now I'm just using always long liners (because that's what they have on sale at costco)

Maxi pads and liners,
I moved as soon as I could over to the liners, more comfortable and left more air around to breathe.
But you will need the 2 different sizes

I am 12 days post op. Dr Chett gave me some pads and my partner found the same ones in Tesco Lotus so I'm using them. They are a Thai brand and I think they are a bit big for me but they are doing the job.
I am not sure what I'll use back in Sydney :)
Hugs

Right after surgery I used mix of a nice (thick) pad and sterile pads provided by the surgeon. After the swelling started to go down I switched over to store brand ultrathin (overnight) pads. These days I only use pads after dilating to keep meh knickers more or less clean (and remove after a day for better air flow).
