Title: scar cover-up

Anyone had any luck with a cover-up for top surgery scarring? I'm almost a year post op, and after a months use of Kelecote they are getting ligher but not enough. Were going on vacation and I'd like to find something preferably waterproof to go swimming.

I used this. It's very protective zinc oxide stuff. Not too bad to use. The "flesh" color worked fine for me, but wouldn't work if you were a POC. It's not irritating, perhaps if you were super sensitive.

Depending on your size, you may not have any real scars to speak of. I was going shirtless within two months of my surgery.

Is there a brand name for the zinc oxide you're talking about, Aleon? And, what does POC stand for? lol

Sam - not everyone is as lucky/fortunate as it sounds like you are. Perhaps I should of been a little more specific. I have always scarred, real bad since I was a kid. I had/have keloids from surgery, which I almost expected going in. So yes, I have "real scars".

Of course, being sun block, they don't know we're covering scars with it.
