It Seems like I keep going farther and farther into becoming a girl rather than a crossdresser. at first I started with wearing panties loved them so much I threw out my male underware. Now I can fully dress like a lady and pass as a woman out in public. the thrill of making people believe I am a woman is unbelievable, it makes me want to go farther. while I was out in public the other day I went and got my ears pierced she called me maam and evey thing. Now when I look into the mirror I see alot more feminine features I don't see the man I used to be. Am I turning to corner to becoming transgendered? please help?

It seems to me you are becoming more and more comfortable being who you really are and if that is transgender then that is what you are becoming and that is great and I saulte you for getting to that point. I wish I had the balls to go dressed up in public, that is my goal for the future but I am such a chicken to do so. I want to get some breast forms and a nice dress and a wig so I can go out in public as a woman. Good Job!

Since my divorce, I find myself going totally into female mode, very rarely wear male clothes and have been dating a guy also.....(altho my male side would be horrified) but that seems to be getting buried lately lol
We all go as far as we feel we need to go. there is no yardstick, really

You story is similar to mine. After I cross dressed for a time I saw that my feelings ran much deeper than wearing the clothing. I did more research and realized that I was transgender. Here it is ten years later and I am a happy and contented transgender woman.
How far you want to go is up to you. In the meantime, enjoy the journey.

Yes, Gennee. It has been the same to me. Some people treat me as a woman, and I am happy with it.

I guess you have to just listen to yourself and your inner feelings. If you find you want to dress full time - then so be it - although I appreciate that can bring a new raft of decisions needing to be made. BUT if that place is where you are most content I guess that is where you need to make the decisions from. It certainly sounds as though you're having fun. Keep smiling :-).

Hi Tammi, you may well have had GID from the start without realising it, but as you enjoy cross dressing and notionally wanting to be a woman you've probably started finding yourself.
I would suggest that maybe having a session with a Gender therapist...
However in my opinion if you love the way you feel as a female and are now considering transitioning and if you have no ties with marriage and the like then you really have no obstacles, the choice is all yours.
Go girl...

Tammi many of us do start out cross dressing as an outlet of our gender dysphoria. How we feel about he experience goes deeper than just putting the clothes and makeup on. Anything is possible and and good therapist could help you sort that out. As others have said you really are becoming comfortable with who you are and maybe you have turned a new leaf on to something much bigger than what you orginally expected or thought. Good luck and hugs
