Title: Binding Joy!
Post by: Jak on April 26, 2015, 06:25:07 PM
I've been wearing compression shirts for a while, but hadn't taken the plunge and tried the "binding bra" - yeah, sadly, that's what they call it - until today. Heaven. Pure. Heaven. This will sound crazy, but I actually felt stronger while wearing it. And, strangely, while I usually have next to no nipple sensation, they felt more sensitive. I've wondered if the lack of sensation wasn't psychological. Now I'm feeling more sure that that may be the case.

Anyway, just had to tell someone how awesome it felt!

:D  it IS pretty awesome!  I'm becoming a giant man-baby about it simply because it's been a couple years and I'm getting antsy to be over it.  HA ha, also before I really admitted I was not happy being a chick I almost always went bra-less. Though in comparison, I feel even tighter binding is comfier than most any bra I ever tried. I've always prefered corset type compression, not just for the flat chest look, it just feels nicer to me I guess!

The first few weeks I was happy to wear the dang things tight enough to have trouble breathing I was so happy.  I am trying to remind myself to not complain because it's still a really awesome thing to get sir'd and I never got that until binding. XD I have heard many guys getting more sensitivity, but for me it's less but I prefer that anywyas ;D

It's been the same for me as far as feeling stronger.  Passing as a guy now is pretty easy (until I open my mouth, anyways.)  I even passed yesterday to a girl around my age at a birthday party.  I've passed at least four or five times since I got them about three weeks ago.

Thanks to an FTM I met on here last year (who was the same cup size as me), I've come to totally fall in love with button up shirts.  They make me look super flat, just like they did him.  Especially darker colors and patterns.  They're all I wear in public now, and it works.

yay that's awesome! :D I imagine I'd feel stronger in a binder as well; something empowering about feeling more like yourself I suppose.

I wonder if the nipple sensitivity is due to sensory deprivation the tight binder stays very still during the time it is on denying your chest any changing sensation and once its removed your skin is more sensitive because its used to trying to feel things through the binder, I get an effect like that if I am tucked too long, just a theory it could also have to do with your body reacting to the feeling of confidence you get presenting as yourself.

Actually, the increased sensitivity is while wearing it, not afterwards. But, I can see how what you note can be true for some.
