my surgeon used dissolvable stitches
1 year and 3 months post op they have not dissolved and are STILL rejecting through my skin
any other dudes have this problem?
it mostly happens just on my nipples now....first 9 or 10 months post op it was both nipples and incision/scar line
they get a bump on them....then the bump gets bigger and starts to hurt and looks like a big pimple but kinda whitish with a yellow tint
then either i pop it or it bursts on its own and the stitch comes out of it
super disgusting
anyone know the reason why some guys body dont dissolve the stitches?
i got scars on my nipples now from all the stitches getting infected and forcing themselves out of my skin
just took a shower and one came out

Ouch....I just had surgery 2 weeks ago but all of my stitches are internal/disolvable stitches. Now I fear this happening lol

I have a friend who this happened to. It eventually resolved but took a long time, much longer than it took me to heal and I had surgery after he did. But it did eventually heal. His channel is here. I thought I could find the videos about this problem right away but I can't. You would need to watch some and so on. But he does talk about it.
