Title: "I spoke with your daughter..."
Post by: MugwortPsychonaut on May 03, 2015, 10:52:08 AM
Apparently I'm "passing" more and more these days. Not always, but more.

Yesterday there was a guy at the door drumming up business for his roofing company. There was a lot of hail damage around here last year, so now these guys are totally zeroed in. I answered the door and so happened to be wearing short shorts and a lacy camisole. It looked like the guy had a crush on me by his awkwardness and the way he tried to make small talk with me. "So, are you gonna watch the Kentucky Derby today?" And he wrote his phone number on a flyer that he handed to me.

He came back later and talked to either my mom or my stepdad. Apparently he said, "I spoke with your daughter earlier, and..."

And you know what? I wasn't even wearing makeup!

Squeeeeee!!  :D

Congrats. I bet you were on cloud 9 after that. It's so wonderful and feels fantastic when things like that happen. Hugs

I love when people refer to me as a dude or as 'a son.' I'm pre-T everything, but it's a great feeling to pass and receive comments like that from outsiders.
