I'm 15 years old and just received my first Lupron shot for blocking T and it went good I didn't even feel the shot & currently have no side effects but I'm looking at people's experiences with the drug and they say it's a terrible, horrible, drug that can be fatal. I have looked at side effects and it looks like I'm in for a ride for the next month.. My endo said I shouldn't experience any side effects besides some hot flashes. I'm pretty nervous for what's going to happen in the upcoming month. Anyways, there's no going back now :-X I always see trans-woman take spironolactone but my doctor said that wouldnt do anything significant to my T levels. Does anyone have experience with Lupron? I'd like to know I'm not the only one that's going down this route.. :-\

You could have a look here:

I'd say disregard the hint to the orchi... thats a different subject... and should be thought over twice if you want to have srs...
It might be possible the t levels rise a bit first in the first few weeks... but your endo should know that...
My personal opinion:
You might get informed a bit, and possibly about alternatives... so you could discuss with your endo...
but if your endo has experience with trans people, I personally would watch out some but wouldn't worry all the time about side effects.

When I hear of Lupron I always think of this article:

I have no experience or advice to offer.
