All the first three. I do what I can.

The main way I give back is by supporting this site. I also sponsor the Gay/Straight Alliance at my school and periodically do something in community to educate people about trans issue.

Next school year, I'm hoping to help out with the church's religious education program.

i dont really donate money because i dont know where my money is actually going. i do donate my free time i have helping this site

Cash and time volunteered to church and a number of organizations. I also teach and mentor the students coming up in my field of business.

Makes it seem like I do a lot. It really isn't. I feel I can do a lot more.

After the panic of recent months that brought me to this website, I hope to help with more awareness. It seems most negative feelings to our community is a lack of understanding. I don't know where I fit in there or what I can do, but I hope to help both our family of trans community as well as my local community. Only problem is that my job is cyclical so while I can spend a good deal of time now, there are months at a time where I work and that is about it.

I kind of hate to write this all down. I have always felt this sort of thing is making myself self important. However, I am trying new ways to communicate, socialize and just be.

I donate cash to the local charities here in town where I live and I also track down and give clothing, household items & etc to the local church charity shops.  Getting about on my tricycle which is my version of a disability scooter I'm available to anyone who wants to stop me and talk to me about what's on their mind.  I pray for folk in the community too and the world in general.

I give cash.  AmazonSmile is awesome.  Pretty effortless way to donate all the time.

I donate to many organisations from time to time, just not as much currently as I would due to income constraints...

I am currently helping a friend with setting up a Registered Charity ( non profit) helping the homeless and needy... Great cause!

Edit: Also donate clothing and other items that gets replaced from time to time around the home too

I help people when I can, but I can't afford to give money to any charities.

I've been giving money to human rights, environmental and medical NGOs for several years now, plus to this site and give my time. I was working for 16 years with a 75 year old NGO established to advocate for social disadvantaged people and people living in poverty. So yeah... do what I can! :)

Mostly I give seemingly random amounts to individuals who my "inner voice" tells me. It doesn't matter how they're dressed or anything else.

Except smoking. And drinking or drugs. No dinero today, sorry.

I like to volunteer when the opportunities arise and I have the free time for it. I don't often donate money to charity because I'm a broke college student, but I still do donate spare change from time to time.

I try to help out whenever I can, and I'm hopefully going to start proper volunteer work at an animal shelter sometime soon.

I give money for cancer research for children. Also have an old car I'm donating next week too Make A Wish. Along with a bunch of items from the "other person" That I'll be donating as well. Going to try to start doing volunteer work soon in the LGBT community so I can help people out.

I give cash and try to raise awareness and spread information about a few various causes. Mostly I've been donating to shelters, a few individual people who were in really bad situations (like an lgbt person facing deportation to a homo-/transphobic home country, etc), the Movember movement, the local shelter for homeless cats, etc. I'm not rich so I can't give a lot and I have to prioritise harshly, but I'm thinking every penny I can give counts so it's still better than nothing.

Also most clothes I buy are from thrift stores where the money goes directly to charities, like the Red Cross organisation.

I give toys, games, treats and coupons for free food to school counselors at my job to give to troubled kids. I always give what I can to any homeless people I come across. I always try to feed my co-workers: hard working people who make slightly more than minimum wage. I donate to a local LGBT center. In short, I do what I can.

Unfortunately you can't tell the legitimate charities from the fake. Take the Clinton foundation 94% goes towards programs=.vs the Trump foundation only getting Pinocchio's for example. A few years ago the United Way was discovered to be abusing funds.

Well, that was a bunch of gloom, and you didn't even answer my original question. Would you like to try again?

Out and visible trans-person on the LGBT network for my global employer. Including multiple articles, presentations to the highest executive level of the business.
Run regular trans* related event stalls at work to raise awareness for TDoV and TDoR.

Active member of my local trans group.

Work with Cambridge university to educate their 5th year med school students on trans* care.

I'm happy to talk to anyone about myself and being trans* in a very open manner to anyone who asks and wants to learn. X

I donate cash to several charities that I have supported for years in the social, environmental, and animal welfare categories.  I volunteer as a firefighter, and on other community groups.  I help with the administration of the trans support group.  I advocate for trans people by being out and open about who I am.  I transitioned very publicly in a couple of hobby-related groups and I am an on-stage public presenter for one of them.

 Of course my experience goes back a long time. I give to schools, medical research, and transgender support groups. The later is a fairly new endeavor.  I also volunteer with Americorp showing people how to research jobs at the Job Works office. Many people coming in have never touched a computer.  I do not contribute to church's as I know where the money goes. IE Binnie Hinn asking for money at a Las Vegas revival asking for donations so he and his wife could gamble. Oral Roberts claim that he needed two million dollars or he was going to be called home. He must have got the money because he died fifteen, twenty years later.

Do I give something back to the world?
To give something back would imply that I'd have received something from it but this world has so far only ever thrown ->-bleeped-<- my way and nothing else so... Can I really give something back to it then?   

As for charity or helping to make this world a better place, if I had enough money to spare I'd probably invest some for causes that I deem important and necessary. Like investing in medical research independent from pharmaceutical companies or supporting the local animal shelters to just name two examples.
Hence I voted: 'no but I would if I had the money'
