Title: 2 weeks no alcohol/cigarettes
Post by: mythy on May 15, 2015, 11:03:13 PM
This might not seem like a long time but it feels like a small accomplishment.  Still fighting cravings and such. I REALLY want a drink right now.

Nothing small about 2 weeks. Congrats. It starts at those distances and then it's a month and so on. Good luck and Hugs

Congratulations! I completely agree with Mariah. Staying sober is a big collection of little moments where you did the right thing for yourself. Count every minute and be sure to congratulate yourself often. You can do this!

Hugs, Devlyn

Congrats mythy, that's really big

I gave up smoking nearly thirty years ago, cold turkey, was hard first few weeks, but I pushed through...
Don't give up, push through do lots of other things that would stop me thinking of it...

So both together that's a mammoth achievement... well done - a virtual pat on the back, think positive now... "you can do it"
