"Kat Haché, from Tennessee, is a transgender woman and an advocate of women's rights - two identities which some radical feminists believe are mutually exclusive. "In the past, I have had some people tweet at me," she says. "I normally don't take them too seriously and have mostly ignored them, but I have heard horror stories of doxing and coercive outing of people as trans.""

That this is even a question speaks to how poor a job our community has done to educate people on who we are.

"a number of radical feminists insist on regarding trans women as men, denying them basic access to health care, women's facilities and anywhere considered a women's space"
While that's disgusting, it's also kind of sad. They're radicals. The extreme fringe. Dinosaurs from a by-gone time who, in a few decades at the most, will be met with a "Wow, I didn't know they still MADE people like you" when they espouse such ignorant opinions publicly.
Their time has already passed, though they don't realize it. They did a good job advancing women's rights, but the modern era has passed them by and their own antiquated views on gender, sex, and equality no longer make any sense in the context of current understanding.
suzifrommd is right though, the way to combat it is with education. We may not be able to convince these radicals, but winning the hearts and minds of society at large will effectively silence them and prevent them from doing any real harm to the movement as a whole.
Or at least that's how I see it.
" the radical feminist group Gender Identity Watch...(snip)...worked with the right-wing anti-gay group Pacific Justice Institute "
They lost the plot. It's time to take the car keys and power of attorney away from granny :(
