Title: Happy Dance!

Yay! My upper lip area is almost clear!! There's not enough there for a full session. Two or three more should hopefully have the area entirely done. No more crying and agony that the EMLA cream doesn't touch!! **dance**

I think I'm getting there but it's slow going. I never even had any hair on my cheeks or neck, just the goatee area. Once I'm done with it I can afford to buy a car!!
Glad the end is in site for you :)

It's wonderful to see the light at the end of the tunnel, isn't it?
I get to go in next week for 2 hours and should have everything cleared completely. Unfortunately, what I'm getting now is some fine dark ones popping up. It seems that laser wiped the dark ones out initially, but they came back finer after about a year. My electrologist told me to stop lasering so we can make them go away forever. The first electro sessions with her only took out red, gray and blond ones, but now most of what she's pulling are dark regrowth.
My take on this is that laser got me passable and out the front door earlier than electro would have, but eventually you will still pay the electrologist.

I'm almost done with everything above the jawline, There's not enough left on any one area for a full session so she works on two now. A few more sessions and we should start on the neck **shudder**

For me the neck was the easiest. The worst were the upper lip, soul patch and jawline. Hopefully it's the same for you.

She touched on the jawline a wee bit a few weeks ago and it was bad but nowhere near as bad as the upperlip which always has me crying. I can't imagine it will be very comfy going over the laryngeal prominence or areas close by.

Congrats!!!
I haven't shaved in a week and all I have are a few barely noticeable whiskers on my face.
I am going back in a couple of weeks though, hopefully the next couple of laser treatments will kill them off for good.

Sadly laser wasn't an option for me. I'm a pale, blue-eyed, strawberry blonde-redhead Scotswoman. My hair was too light for laser so I'm doing the whole thing hair by hair...

I started with electrolysis and the thermolysis machine was no match for my my thick, dark hairs. I thought I had no option because laser was for fair skinned people but then I found out the opposite.
In your case though you're stuck because of the light hairs. I don't envy you.

And...to top the cake...being intersex I have hair that's less dense and doesn't grow in certain areas (which is nice) but I have to go longer between shaving so what I do have is long enough so I feel like a damn Ewok in between sessions.

Congrats! I spent over 45 mins squeezing my fingers last session as work was done on my upper lip! Hurt like anything! Still more to go. Unfortunately I have many more sessions to go before my face will be clean.

That was me yesterday so I do empathise. EMLA cream doesn't even touch that pain. Luckily since it's almost clear I really only hard to get about 25 minutes or so. I had shaved the rest of my face so there wasn't anything else should could do.
My aethestician is so sweet - she'll stop and wipe the tears coming out from the mask when we're on that spot.

I am really happy for you. I know the pain :(
I thought the ears are by far the worst.
