Title: Been dealing with being in the wrong body for 14 years
Post by: JennaRose on May 20, 2015, 08:28:40 PM
Hi everyone, I'm Jenna and I've been dealing with being stuck in a Male body for 14 years. Being what I truely am has been taking it's depressing toll on me for 14 years. Is there any suggestions as to where I can see a GP or buying HRT products? My Mum supports me and she knows I've been wanting this for a long time.

I know how forum rules work, I've been following them for a long time, but that's my story on how I've been dealing with my problem.

Hi Jenna,

Welcome to Susan's.

Best to start with a gender therapist. Depending on where you live the next step can vary. The gender therapist should help direct you as to the next step.

BTW, rules are provided to all new posters.

Hi Jenna,

Welcome to Susan's!
It is great to hear from you, and it's really nice that your Mum is supportive.
As Cynthia mentioned, it is best to start with a good gender therapist. How and where you can find one or what are the next steps depends on where you live. You need not mention your exact location but a general idea of where you are will help others to provide more specific advice.
Buying HRT medication is advisable only with a doctor's prescription and under their supervision. We do not encourage self-medication as it can be harmful to your health.

Take care
Cindy

I took your advice for Gender Therapy guys, and I found someone who deals with the issue. So I should hopefully have an assessment appointment Saturday morning. I feel so alive
