Hi y'all to Susan's. I "grew up" here a few years back, but haven't been here much in the last 1.5 years. My life has been omsettled until recently, but is settling down for me now. I've missed spending time here!
I'm MTF, in transition. I'll turn 62 in July, I've been on HRT for almost 2 years now. My transition has been a slow one, and not always easy, but it is very gratifying to be becoming myself. I look forward to many more happy moments here on Susans!

Thanks for all the warm welcomes! I've seen many friendly faces and avatars, some familiar from before and some new to me. They all make me smile!
I have a question. I tried to find out in the welcoming rules and guidelines post, no luck: What are the criteria for having one's reputation button enabled? I don't suppose it matters too much, just kinda curious...

I believe it is 50, but let me double checked. You can't raise your own, but should be below everyone else's post's by now.

I had 43 posts left over from my time here previously. Apparently th system only counts new, recent posts.
Thanks Mariah

I will pass it on and have it taken a look at. That could be the case with all the software upgrades over time. Hugs

Hey Violet, how are you? I've wondered how you are doing. I still remember fondly your boob fairy avatar, lol.
I have stopped in and stirred the pot for the "Where were you born" poll occasionally. Still mostly inconclusive, but there does seem to be a hint of some curious patterns.
Hugs sweetie, hope you are doing fabulous!

Currently at home healing from recent FFS (see ticker in my signature). Just started full-time recently, at long last, and really happy now!
I noticed you bumped-up the birthplace poll. Thanks also for mentioning my Canadian poll equivalent. It still needs more participation but there was a burst of it again late last year.
Hugs back! Hopefully I'll be feeling fabulous once my head gets back to normal.

Glad to meet you and this is a bit strange. You join after me but you have had far more experience on the web site than me. I will figure it out one of these days. ;) If there is anything I can do to help, let me know.

Hi Dena,
Don't feel bad I confuse a lot of people ;) I initially joined Susan's over 2 years ago. At one time I had thousands of posts, which is how I got the rep points I have. For Goddess only knows what reason, I purged most of my old posts. You may encounter some people on here who also have a disproportionate # of posts versus rep points, due to an unfortunate data loss that happened a few years ago.
I don't think you have much to worry about! 3 rep points in your first week is absolutely stellar. You obviously have the spirit and message that finds favor here. You will soon pass me and leave me in the dust. Sigh...
Thanks for the offer of support, I may take you up on it some day!

The last one where I helped a FTM I almost feel guilty about earning as most anybody who pitches their voice should have been able to figure out. If anyone really deserve credit it would be my speech therapist who was so secure with his job that he taught it to me. The other two that tell me how nice I am make me blush.
I think I could get a better ratio if I didn't make so many greetings but some of those people are making their first post because they are in trouble and need help now. A greeting lets them know we are there and allows me to keep a check on their progress. I made a point of trying to learn more than the doctor knew when I was in treatment so I could make the correct decision. Combine that with many years post surgical living in the wild, I think I may have something to offer that could improve their life.
