Title: Wake up call // Calling for help
Post by: AmysHope on May 31, 2015, 01:27:13 AM
Hello Susan's Place's community,
This is my first post here, I recently joined. I kind off wanted to introduce myself and also, as in the title says, I need help.

A little bit about myself, I'm 19 years old MtF to become... I hope, came out when I was 17 years old. I'll the "how I realised" parts. When I came out, my familly had a realy hard time accepting it, I went to college and entered in contact with GRS MTL to find out how I needed to proceed.. had my appointment with my first psycologist... but my life turned to hell before I could attend. I dropped out because of depression, moved in with a friend who caused me way more trouble then good... So I tried to forget about it all... told myself I would get over it.. but as you must all think "HOW WRONG WAS I"

Everything went wrong.. I couldn't focus on my whole life anymore.. Made a girlfriend and wanted to make her happy and for a while, it was working... but then.. I knew. I can't live without the real me thats hidding beneath.. I told my lover and she was ok with it.. she supports me..

But now comes the help part... I lost my contacts... GRS won't answer... I realy need to find a psycologist that will be able to help me through all the process.. the kind of one that can give me the yes for HRT eventually.

I'm litteraly down the ladder, but the few starting steps are missing from my side, and for some reason. No mather how much I search.. call.. ask for help. I can't get anything.

So I am aksing you. I can handle going to Montreal, I know the contact I had back then was there...
I need a guide to help me get those steps back on...
Thank you for your time and listening.
Amy

Welcome to Susan's place. I can't help with that but seeing you posted in the middle of the nigh, post a bump about mid day tomorrow if you don't get any help. These threads move out of the top of the queue pretty fast and I seen one yesterday that did just that. The owner couldn't figure out why there were no responses but it was pretty simple, nobody saw it. Good luck on your quest.

To be more simple about what I am asking is: Does anyone have the right contacts to meet in montreal to start, from the very begining the process? Like, who do I need to meet to get my recommendations letters for HRT and such...

Thank you all for your help,
Amy
