Hello!
Fresh newcomer to the forums. I've been lurking around here for a bit, I figured it was time to contribute and interact! I guess some background would be handy, huh.. some of my earliest memories were of being mistaken for a cis girl. Apparently my mom decided to just go with the flow, because I also recall some mother-child nail-painting times. My childhood and adolescence were both full of dissatisfaction with my assigned gender. Puberty is already a confusing time, but it was even more confusing when I realized I was both attracted to and envious of girls! All that died down for a while, but I'm at a point in life where I'm very seriously looking at HRT. Got an appointment in two months for initial visit, I'll be sure to update here as it goes. I have a suspiciously supportive (and also outright amazing) partner who's my steadying rock throughout this.
Thanks for reading my block 'o text! ;D

Welcome to Susan's. Sounds like so far you are in a pretty good place. It's interest to hear from people who figured it out early instead of puberty or long after. I was a somewhat slow learner not figuring out until puberty hit. If there is anything I can help you with, let me know.

Thank you three! It's pretty cool to hear all the different experiences here, it seems like a pretty diverse place.
Slightly off-topic, but I ended up stumbling across an old picture. I guess everything makes more sense now... hah!
