I went up to Thunder Bay Canada the other day and working seasonal jobs I can't keep my feminine clothes in my room because I share a room and can't dress up or wear my nighties or panties to bed without being judged which I don't want to deal with.
Well on my way back I was detained for thirty minutes while they checked my car and instead of saying the bag of female clothes were a girlfriend I said they were mine and they are a personal preference and that was it. They thought I was going to meet up with someone that I was trying to smuggle over the boarder, that's crazy.
Fun times

I was flying home from New York once and was selected for a random bag check, by a female transit officer. Unzipping the suitcase revealed women's shoes, bras and panties. This brought a big smile to the agent's face. I told her the truth, "They're my wife's, she's on a different flight later today." She searched the bag and let me go on my way.
The great part about the story for me is two-fold. First, crossing from US to Canada or vice-versa you are not likely to be subjected to a morality search, the agents are looking for contraband and other illegal things. And second, she didn't believe that that was my wife's stuff, she thought it was mine, and as a closeted crossdresser that made me feel great to be busted in that fashion.

I travel for work quite a bit and always bring hosiery, skirts and tops along with my guy work clothes. I'm pretty sure a TSA agent has seen my girly things. And I know a housekeeping person has seen my mix of girl and guy clothes in the room (i typically don't have my room cleaned while I'm on the road, but I forgot to put the card on the door).
I'm fortunate that I get my own room when I'm on the road, but I enjoy taking the opportunity to dress and be comfy while I'm away.
They are just clothes... If maids, TSA agents, or border agents see your stash you aren't doing anything wrong... Just being you!

Nobody cares.
Goodwill . . . $50 worth of unisex stuff (women's) and a nice cotton tier skirt, white, lightweight, "eyelet lace" --
"Your wife is going to like this!"
"I'm not married. These things are for me."
(And typically I become an attractive, single male w/ a sense of style/fashion -- unheard of locally . . . )
And then she assures me that Goodwill is altogether comfortable with my shopping, my choices, and that I should be entirely un-phased here using the fitting rooms for whatever I might want to fit.
Back and forth across the line in so many dimensions that I lose track where the line used to be.
NOBODY NOTICES.
NOBODY CARES.
