Title: The new girls in the men's locker room
Post by: DianaLM on June 21, 2015, 07:46:12 PM
OK so it's been a little more than a month on injected estradiol valerate--no spiro yet, but that's probably not too far down the road. I have absolutely no complaints and in fact have been pleasantly surprised how relatively quickly some things are starting to change. For example, while I cannot claim any breast growth (yet  :)) my nipples are now certainly larger, nearly always erect, and exceptionally sensitive. That's generally a very nice turn of events indeed.

But I realize I hadn't fully thought through a very important issue. I'm a gym rat and work out in the office's fitness center every morning. In some work out clothes it's very apparent to me that things have started to change up top, although I seriously doubt anyone else would notice--yet. During workouts (and heck in the office itself) there are a variety of ways to keep my fledgling girls under wraps once they start growing. That won't work in the shower, walking to the shower, getting dressed etc. I'm of course under no obligation to explain anything to anybody. But since these are co-workers, I'm concerned about getting outed prematurely if my breasts come in faster and bigger than expected.

Does anyone have advice/experience on how to handle this situation? It could be something as simple as getting dressed and undressed in the shower--but that sounds almost too easy. Thanks!

I go to a LGBT gym and go to the co-ed locker room. There are guys in the locker room and it is embarrassing but I do not fit in the woman's locker room. I was offered a private bathroom room by the gym owner. In your situation they are cis gender, co-workers and all male so this is tough. The guys in the co-ed locker room never talk to me and I change quickly.

Your solution of changing in the shower might work.

I never fit into a male locker room and swam competitively on 3 teams year round when younger. I had small boobs and very very small genitals so I would use a beach towel to go to and from the showers ( draped behind my neck over my small boobs and I would direct it over my genitals), go to a secluded part of the lockers hid and changed behind an open locker door with my back turned, the best I could. It really hurts being laughed at.
