I'm Olivia, but you can call me Pink or Trapezoid (nicknames).
I am 16. Rather young...
I am genderfluid/transgirl. Feminine or neutral (they) pronouns please.
I have not yet transitioned, but I am heavily considering it.
Pink Floyd is my favorite band, and I get heavily obsessive. I am trying my best to branch out though, like Electric Light Orchestra and Led Zeppelin!
I am also a musician. I play keyboards, mostly piano. I also write my own music and lyrics, mainly the genres of experimental and progressive rock, though starting to move into avant-garde and noise music as well. I plan on putting out an autobiogriphical album called "A Crowd of Blurs", mainly centered around my philosophies and depression throughout my life, concluding with a "getting better" song.
That's all for now. I'm hoping to be a good part of this community, and I look forward to meeting good friends!

Hi Pink!
Nice to see you here.
Pink Floyd; I'll show my age, I was at the launch of their Dark Side of the Moon concert!
We have lots of gender fluid people here and we are respectful of pronouns that they wish used.
We also have a youth section you may wish to explore.
Welcome!
Cindy

Many thanks, Cindy! And yes, the DSotM concert started in 1972, yes? A year before the iconic album was actually released, and back where they also considered calling it "Eclipse - A Piece for Assorted Lunatics" because of an album of the same name (DSotM) by a less popular group. I think that's when the official concerts for it started.
And I'll be sure to check the rules and all, and hopefully find a nice place here. Thanks again! (Honestly, I may be seen lurking the music forums most of all, but I will check in the youth section from time to time to get things out and help with progress and comfort.)

Welcome to Susan's Olivia, lovely to have you with us...
With you on ELO and the only Pink Floyd song I ever liked was Brick in the Wall... I was never really into rock. I have tended to move along with current music era trends. From a kid I always preferred Ska/Reggae, R&B, Motown etc... so todays music is, generically, twists on those themes... IMHO.
Ahh wish I could have learnt keyboards, Cello at school, Drums in late teens, now, recently trying to learn (not very well) the Guitar!
You'll be sure to make friends here! Look forward to seeing you around here

Thanks, Katy! I'm glad to be welcomed here. I hope I end up staying, it seems nice!
Funny enough, I can't get hooked on modern genres. The fact that the kids at my highschool blare bass-heavy electronic rap doesn't help me get into it. My ears are very sensitive to changes in the frequencies, and I need to keep it at an equal level. I'm sure there's good modern artists, but so much has killed whatever motivation to look. :/
Anyways, good talk!
