You are right, please don't self medicate, its highly dangerous.
Now, you are 18, why not go and see a therapist and start on the right path, your body will thank you.
Education today is very, very important, regardless of what you do, transitioning can be very expensive, without a good education you may not be able to fund yourself.
Please seek the right help.
Susan's has a policy on helping people self medicate, no one is allowed to give out doses and anything specific about medication usage, sorry!
ToS 8.
The discussion of hormone replacement therapy(HRT) and it's medications are permitted, with the following limitations:
A. You may not advocate for or against a specific medication or combinations of medication for personal gain. This is strictly prohibited.
B. You may not discuss the means to acquire HRT medications without a prescription. The discussion of self medication without a doctors supervision is prohibited.
We can not in good conscience condone the self administering of these medications. Not only may self medication be illegal, but HRT medications can cause serious health problems, and many have the potential for life-threatening side effects that can only be detected and prevented with proper medical supervision.

Sorry, there's a reason we don't allow discussion of self medication. It is dangerous and you could do yourself some considerable harm. Taking HRT is not like taking asprin, the medications can potentially damage your liver, give you blood clots, etc. I understand that you are in a screaming hurry, who wouldn't be? But please consider if you make one mistake you may never be able to take hormones again, and then where will you be.
