I'm just over two months post-op DI. Four days ago, I bumped my chest with the corner of a box. Now I have a sensitive lump and slight bruise. It's about an inch towards the center of my chest from my nipple.
Would YOU be concerned? Or just consider it a normal bruise?
My surgeon's MA said to make an appointment if I'm concerned.

I would just consider it a regular bruise...in a very tender spot. Ice it a little to help with the swelling. You should see it improve some in about a week. Similar thing happened to me a few months post op when my dog stepped on my chest (yeah, she walked all over me!) It was tender for a while, but healed up without a problem.

Thanks. That's good to hear you healed without an issue!

Yeah probably just some bruising and a little swelling. I have one of those near the center of my chest (4weeks post op) it's like a hard bump. I'll ask my doctor about it a next week.. hopefully it's not something that has to get drained D:
