At age 24, Nicole Johenning found her voice.

It has required her to train for about five minutes, five times a day. Every day for three months. And even so, she still has a ways to go. This process typically takes six months to a year, depending on the person. Commitment plays into it, but so does anatomy and medical conditions such as acid reflux.

Interesting article mentions voice app that can be used for voice training. Anyone ever hear of, or use, Exceptional Voice App?

I have the apps, have used them, and really like them.  My speech language pathologist asked me to continue to use them and supplemented homework exercises for me to go along with the EVA apps.  It takes time and dedication and lots of practice.

i only ask and have hesitation because their website states that their efforts are primarily with ios and i'm worried comparatively the versions for android aren't as advanced/useful. thanks though :)

Yep, I understand that.  I have a galaxy note 2 which, of course, is not supported. ;)
