Well i had been on HRT for 2 years... i just had my adams apple reduction and nose done... the problem is that i am supposed to be 2 week before the surgery and 2 week after the surgery without hormones!!!! my surgery was 5 days ago... but i can't continue without mi HRT ... I'm seriously thinking to just start again or at least with the T-bloquer.. cause i can feel the testosterone effects already....

Ask them if you can start earlier.

A possibility might be patches, gel or injections... or even sublingual  (less clotting factors).

Just ask them.

I have already taken one t-blocker dosage ( espironolactone) and i think i will continue till tomorrow when I see my endo so i can ask her what to do... :'( i cant speak with her right now until the day of the date (tomorrow) I know i put myself in danger ... but i feel horrible when i see my skin greasy and i have some terror about becoming more masculine because of the Testosterone.

I think you should just tough it out. Better suffering from HRT than blood clots.

If you were using estrogen implants you wouldn't need to stop for surgery, even SRS. That's probably not terribly helpful at this point, but maybe next time.

Do you think Tblocker is a factor too for blood clots???

I have been reading a lot... the opinions are mixed... even in the case of biological woman taking HRT ... :/ I #%*ing hate this stuff... I hate when i have doubts about HRT :'( :'( :'( I'm pretty sure my endo doesn't take me seriously.

Should be only estro... and it can be diminished by the way of application... as written above...

Well there are mixed opinions among surgeons.
Some say to stop hrt, some say you can continue, especially when being on patches or injections.
It might be possible to ask in advance and maybe switch to patches a few weeks in advance.
Implants are continued anyways, as AnonyMS pointed out.

Dr Bowers for SRS doesn't tell you to stop. She only tells you drop it to a low dose.

Maybe you can discuss this with your surgeon.

And yes, I hated stopping for a couple of weeks.

I don't always say this, but I'd do what the doctor says in this case. It's not worth the risk, and who knows, they may know what they are doing.

The other factor is if you do have any problems and you're taking medication the doctor told you not to will that affect you insurance? Even if it's completely unrelated I'd expect the insurance company to try to get out of paying for anything and everything. You'd also probably lose any legal ability to go after the doctor if you had problems.

I have no insurance... :/  but i agree It's not worth the risk since there are just some days missing. Thank you!! <3

Thank You!!! I will absolutly talk about with my endo... my surgeon does not know anything about HRT since he is just starting with trans people... but Thank you!!

Most studies showing various side effects apart from clotting were done with non bioidentical estrogen, through various forms of delivery.

Cis women have naturally sometimes high estro levels and have surgeries regardless.

Clotting factors depend on the form of application, with implants and injections considered the safest, then patches or gel and then sublingual, and at last oral (not sublingual). All only estro, espironolactone sublingual makes no sense.

Thank u so much Laura !!! i talked to my endo today and she said it was ok  to take Tbloker but no estrogen... for 2 weeks... and then strat again with estrogen C= Im very happy. Thak u for all your advices! <3 As soon as i get better i will share some pics C=.
