Title: I'm attempting to change my gender marker via a human rights complaint
Post by: CindyCD on July 31, 2015, 12:09:45 PM
I'm trying to challenge the current need for surgery in order to change one's gender marker. I've managed to draw some media attention. Wish me luck :)

Good luck! I hate that we continuously have to stick our own necks out in order to make any kind of progress, but what you're doing will hopefully make it easier for others in the future. Good work!

You go girl!

I think it's also time too so that I go back to my country to fight for me and girls in my country.

I had just gone through the same battle here in the NWT Canada I just last month became the first person in the NWT to have there marker changed on birth certificate without needless surgery. It's a battle to get things changed I know, keep fighting and don't give up. Good luck!

If the wheel doesn't squeak it will never get the grease.
