So I wanna buy a packer.
I want to buy the packer gear packer. Right now I have a crocheted packer that serves its purpose but I want one that's not crochet.
I can easily buy the thing myself without anyone knowing, but I'm at a loss for what to say to my nosy family when I get a package and can't/won't tell them what it is since only my mom knows i'm trans

That's literally the one thing that's been stumping me... I've been ordering stuff online a bit more frequently and just ordered an ear stretching kit. Maybe I could write it off as more ear stretching help? IDK haha to you guys who live with your families and are trying to stay on the down low with your packers, what do you do?

And I know that the boxing(like from tranzwear where I want to get it) is discreet, I just don't know what to explain when someone sees the package and is like: OO MEL WHAT DID YOU BUY!?

I too, have a nosy family. What I did was try to track the packages and see approximately what time they would come so I could get to them before any of my family members did. But this is a bit of a risky approach.

You could have it possibly shipped to one of your friend's houses if you want and then just pick it up from them ?

Aside from the good input Maleth put in there, I think if you were unfortunately approached by some nosy fam 'bout what's in yo' package box, I would tell 'em the truth; that its personal...and just walk away. Its the honest truth because this is a personal and private item that would be inappropriate to share its knowledge amongst family with(other than your mom, since you say she knows already, correct?). I feel that if they think they have the right to ask about this then you should have the right to answer them back (truthfully) the way you see fit.

I fear though, the same thing may happen to me when mine gets here too....But I do try to practice what I preach, so to speak, and will do what I just advised/suggested you to.

Thanks!^^ I definitely will take my time the next chance I get to do this. I was so excited from the thought of it and I knew I had just enough money for it. I have to rely on SSI and only get like allowance money($50.00 per month). So I got it the moment I remembered how badly I wanted and am in need of a STP and boxers to hold it right. Cause my dad has avoided takin' me to places like Wal-Mart to get the appropriate attire for any packer. Not too mention, I think I might be strugglin' wit anorexia nervosa now.  :( Which means my clothes fallin' off me, lol(nervous laugh). I get so scared that my pants 'll fall off one day only to reveal my 'fake' balls. :embarrassed:

I don't know what else to do, other than to save my peanut money to buy some pants offline that's a couple sizes larger than my waistline(for that baggy look without bein' to loose, yo :embarrassed:).

Oh, I don't mind like thrift shops and stuff...its just that I can't go anywhere by car on my own(I only have a permit and really don't know how to drive and I am freakin' 26 :embarrassed:).

This too, is a great idea. Maybe there is cheap clothing stores online, yes?

and you might have a look at ebay.
Sometimes people get clothes gifted and they don't fit for example... I'd just look for good reviews of the seller...

another idea might be local markets... there might be local markets for used clothing once a week or a month, advertised in local papers... I'd also have a look at the seller there... but there might be nice pieces there...

Awesome. I never thought to look at the paper or any of that other stuff. I'm kinda slow for the age I'm at. Please excuse me for that, cause I do recognize that I have not been socialized properly as a kid. Its a long story, haha.

I would prolly have to walk or if I'm lucky, I could catch the bus. I used to have a social worker that could take me to thrift shops to buy clothes and stuff. But I do not go to the facility she work out of no more.

Laura, I could just hug you to death right now, lol.^^ You just gave me the idea of contacting that faciltity to get a social worker again who would be able to do this wit me again. Cause my pops ain't fittin' to help supply me with da man clothes I need, you know.    >.>

I've been wanting one for awhile, my only reason for really buying it soon is that it's half off right now from tranzwear and 9.95 plus 6 shipping is a lot nicer than 19.95 with 6 shipping. Not sure how long it will stay that way and I dont' really like how mashos or mr. limpys look compared to this one

I used to live with a nosy roommate who would ask about packages when they arrived. When he would ask, I'd just say it was a dick. He'd assume I was being rude, but it was the truth!  ;D

Consider ordering other bulkier items with the packer. A lot of places sell harnesses or briefs or binders. Order one of those and then you can be like "Oh, just some new underwear/a new shirt." And you can hold it up and show them. In the plastic wrap that those things usually come in, you can't tell that they've got any kind of special purpose.

Or see if you can find what you're looking for on Amazon and use Amazon Locker. It's like having a PO box for Amazon deliveries.

I think I might just get it and try general delivery. I don't have much extra money to spare at the moment so $15 bucks for a packer's really all I want to spend at the moment.

General delivery SHOULD work as long as our post office doesn't screw up haha

Its automated message said it could be like a week or something but it probably won't be that long since it's nothing custom and just an off the shelf packer. So yeah, it probably won't take too long to get here, especially since I'm just a couple states up from where it's being sent from

I picked up my packer from the post office today!!!

I was pretty excited lol.  It's really nice for me not having any experience with any other packers! It's very squishy, which made me wonder what 'real' dicks feel like because I have 0 experience with any of that stuff. But I like it a lot!
Right now it's just in my boxer briefs that I'm wearing, but I'm gonna make a harness for it to see how that feels.

It looks pretty realistic though, the balls and the shaft are detailed nicely, but I think I will end up colouring it w/ makeup. Maybe. I'm allergic to makeup so it might not be the best idea but if it's just staining it and then being rinsed/washed then it should be fine??

I'm not sure where to put it for it to air dry after washing though =P

hm.. do you need to give it some colour ? Maybe you could use it as it is ?

well a big plate could do... earthen,not made from steel... turned around...then carefully put under your bed... then washed thoroughly afterwards  :)

It's probably accurately squishy then, I don't know haha

I don't think I realllly need to give it any colour. It's not like I'm gonna be whipping it around and need it to look accurately coloured.

Anyway, I've been wearing it for almost six hours now and it feels really nice still. I have to make a more 'finished' harness since right now it's just a long piece of elastic around my hips, but it serves its purpose~

Way cool with gettin' yo' packer, dawg. :P I betcha you was super happy when ya got it. Now I'm getting happy thinkin' about how happy I'm gonna be when I get mine. Its like yo' happiness for your newly improved 'junk' is rubbin' off of you onto me, lol!

So dude, I don't think the packer has to air dry. Then again, I could be wrong. But if it don't have to, why not pat it down real good wit' a clean towel(or paper towel even). As far as your peein' tube that you use with yo' STP, I think that has to air dry. Um. I plan to clear a space on my dresser and lay out some paper towel to let it dry in my room. My pops actually don't come in there as often as people might think. And he would not really notice it(I hope). My only real concern is boxers, briefs, and/or trunks. This Natural brief set(I have ordered two of them) are the only underclothes I have that make me feel comfortable and closely, if not perfectly match my internal gender that no one else can see yet(physically anyway). But I really hate panties and have been wearin' 'em all my life because that is what I was 'supposed' to wear. But they are not what I 'want' to wear, which make them feel wrong for me. So as gross as this sounds I will prolly wear the same briefs for a few days and then the other one and alternate(so I don't wear 'em  out or make 'em smell to bad) until the end of the week when I can wash them. I am so glad that my pops stopped holding me back as much as he used to with the washer and dryer. I am 26 years old and some months ago, him allowing me to wash my own damn clothes was not even a reality until now. However, I have to do it only when he is home. Still, I can hide these things under all my other clothing articles.

I plan to do what Laura suggested me to do and look in the paper about clothe sales. I need more than just boxers. I have lost so much weight over the course of only a few months, that I can barely only fit one pair of black jeans with holes that a niece cut in them a long time ago to give me that punkish rock style for Halloween some years ago. 8)

I give mine a really good shaking off, and then it air dries on a rack in the bathroom while I get ready for my morning. Probably not for longer than 10 minutes. I powder it really well so that it won't develop as bad of a funk. If you powder it and rub the powder in, it doesn't have to dry as long.

If it's made of cyberskin, the issue with towels or even paper towels is that it collects particles like crazy. So if you were to try to dry one with anything other than air, you'd probably end up wanting to wash it again because it'll end up fuzzy looking.

So since I shower at the end of the day or middle of the day usually, I found out it works well to wash my packer w/ soap and water right away then lie it on a towel on the counter or something while I finish my shower, and then by the time I get out, it only needs lightly patted off  with the towel, then I dust it w/ cornstarch,(I do rub it in) and it's good to go =)

I've got a harness(that i'm currently working on improving right now) so it doesn't really matter what type of underwear I use for it, except for shark week, where I get to layer normal 'girl' briefs(they're just solid colours so it doesn't matter to me) to keep my packer clean. Also it's not an STP, just a packer! I might get an STP at some point(i have a medicine spoon I've practice with a bit...) but until I get more used to the medicine spoon on its own, I'm not gonna worry about getting a packer and converting it or buying an STP.

But like I posted above, I found a method that works well for cleaning/drying my packer!!
