Hey all, i have a problem i have been having very frequent hot flashes and i sweat excessive specially at my forehead which sometimes is very embarrassing.I have been on androcur 50 mg and progynova 2 mg for many years now and i was wondering if one of these 2 are causing this and if anyone had the same problems?Personaly i think it might have something to do with the androcur because when i was using it less frequent( i take it daily now) it seemed that i didnt sweat as much.So if anyone has any tips that had the same problem or maybe some suggestions on what i can take instead of androcur that would be really helpfull.

Well many people take spironolactone as anti androgen...
they all have side effects...
one form of hrt uses implants or injections to drive the estro levels well into the female range and the t levels down into the female range... without further anti androgen...
progynova is not exactly bioidentical...
one possibility would be to use micronized bioidentical estrogen pills sublingually...
sublingual use is supposed to be less causing clotting factors by bypassing the liver with intake..
its also a bit more effective...
and it might be possible to spread the daily dose for example in four small parts instead of two big ones ...
this way levels might be more steady...
and its possible with low testo levels and also low estro levels its kind of menopausal symptoms... possibly estro levels could be a bit higher...
just talk it through with your endo...
