I was having a late lunch and two of the younger girls in my dept came in and we started talking about what we were going to do on the weekend. Now both of these girls are in their early twenties and no nothing of my past. Not that I am particularly in stealth, but I don't blurt stuff out and the people who I work with see no reason to say anything about my past either.
They started talking about their boyfriends and relationships and how to get their men to ask them out for a date, be more committed etc. One girl is from Thailand and the other from Sri Lanka and have no family in Australia, the conversation turned into both of them asking my advice on boys! 'You must have been through this? How did you handle this when you were a young girl?'
Dear Goddess, I've become Mummy Cindy and not the Egyptian type!

I found myself in a random conversation with two other female coworkers about how men are often looking for things that are right in front of their noses and they still can't see it. One referred to what she calls the "fridge stare" where he husband opens the refrigerator stands there looking into it and yells out "where's the 'X'?", "Right in front of you", "where??"... etc
Love those kind of chats.

I should have added to my post that about 6 months ago I was approached by a girl who was breaking up with her boyfriend. Like you, as an older woman, she expected me to know.
I thought about breakups that I and my friends had been in 20 or 30 years ago and recalled the things we said. I then fed back to her how men reacted and advised her on that basis. She seemed happy with the advice
