Title: Shaving
Post by: DaddyTo5 on August 10, 2015, 11:50:39 AM
How does one choose the right "time" to start shaving?

I started shaving when there was enough hair growth to justify it either by saturation or length. Initially, the facial hair I had was really patchy so I would shave the patches every other week. In that time, the hair got to be maybe a centimeter long.

Now that it's more spread out on my face, I shave every Sunday night and that usually lasts me for the week. I don't work in a place that requires me to be clean shaven. I do my sideburns when I shave my head once a month or so.

It's all about your own preference honestly. Some like to keep it growing, some like to keep a bit of stubble. Just do it to what you think looks good on you.

I'll shave my neck area if it's looking wrecked. I don't plan on shaving anything more because I want a lucious beard. I'll just trim when needed.

When I was forced to do that horrible task, I was given an electric razor that had a long cutting edge on it. A few minutes every few days as required kept things under control. My body hair is white to brown and the beard was always on the light side so it wasn't hard to keep it from looking uncared for.  Latter I received a blade razor but that only saw duty on my legs.
