What characters do you personally think of as transgender (whether there's evidence for that on their show or not)? Do you have any specific scenes you'd like to see related to your trans headcanon?
I like to think of Castiel (from Supernatural) as nonbinary. He's an angel, and it has even been stated on the show that angels aren't male or female (not that nonbinary people can't be male or female). We've even seen some angels leave their human vessels and come back in another vessel with a different gender than before. I don't personally need to see Cas do that; I would like to just see him paint his nails in an episode. Or maybe he'd be out shopping and decide to pick up a dress, because he doesn't see why it wouldn't be okay. And his gender wouldn't just be about playing with gender expression. I think, if he really thought about gender (he's way too busy to stop to think about human matter like that lol), he'd realize that he doesn't even think of himself as a man, even though his vessel is. He'd remind his friends that he's not technically male, and that he doesn't even identify as such. Eventually, he'd come across the term "nonbinary", and claim it for himself. Also, he's an angel. A powerful one. So, he could totally just smite anyone who tried to give him ->-bleeped-<- for being genderqueer. I love this idea and no one can take it away from me lol.
Your turn! Bring on the headcanons!
