Trust your doctor or get a second opinion from another one.

My guess is if the tumor is manageable then it won't interfere with HRT.

Is your doctor an endocrinologist? If so, she likely understands how these things interact, and if she isn't worried, you needn't be. But I agree with Kate -- it can't hurt to get a second opinion. I'd just make sure to get it from an endo who treats trans patients...

I was diagnosed with a pituitary tumor back in 2007 and had brain surgery to have it removed. Regardless if you have it surgically removed or not, HRT won't make any difference because they still have to monitor your hormones (male and female) because of the pituitary disorder. You will be taken care of. I had all my testing and surgery done at OHSU.
