Title: Introducing myself

*deep breath*
I've been visiting here for quite a while and even spoken to a few members privately - I'm forever grateful to the person who first recommended that I come take a look, because it's no exaggeration to say that single brave move didn't just save my long term relationship, but perhaps my life as well.
Anyway, I'd planned to write a lengthy opening message detailing my journey over what has proved to be a very turbulent decade or so, only then I deleted this because I'm also working on a tell-all book (hopefully due out soon) that will explain everything you could possibly need to know about me.
For now, I'll say that it's been a long, painful process to reach a point where I can openly discuss such matters, nearly costing me the love of a partner who has quickly come to accept, support and now suggest how we can move on together without either compromising what they want from the other.
The pursuit of a box I can fit into satisfactorily has caused more harm than good from past experience, yet I fully appreciate the need for labels in some circumstances. If it helps, call me a recently-enlightened genderfluid whose story as a truly complete soul is finally close to reaching a happy ending.
Until next time,
Allie...

I love you. We will take this journey together and I will support you. Some parts will be easy and some will be hard but I will be there every step of the way. We may lose friends but we have lost the most important person to us and our angel will be looking over you proud as punch. Again I love you. Xxxxx

A big warm welcome to Susan's Allie
Its never easy opening your innermost self up to anyone, so hugs for doing that xx
I am also half way through a book of my long and tumultuous journey, which I am still in... its amazing what you learn about your self when writing like that.
