"Ten years after Hurricane Katrina ravaged New Orleans, the 9-year-old who became the face of the tragedy has transitioned to living as a woman and is finally back home in the Big Easy.
In the days after the storm, Charles Evans was stranded outside the Superdome, alongside thousands of others who had lost their homes, when an NBC cameraman approached the smart, chatty child."
