Title: Hello there
Post by: kyoshi on September 14, 2007, 12:04:00 AM
Hi ^^

I'm kyoshi. I'm 18.

I unfortunately was born lacking the Y chromosome. I've always felt more boyish. Yes.

And I'd like to become more androgynous being. One of those people where you double-take, and are like, "Is that a guy or a girl?"
I've got a LOT of work to do though. Weight loss is a HUGE definite. Also, I've had problems with binding (I can't seem to get the hang of it, I must be stupid or something...). So if anyone has any tips, they'd be greatly welcome. n.n

Yeah, thats about it. That and I want to find more people like me. So I have someone to talk to.

I feel kinda awkward talking to people in real life about it (minus the roomie, she straight-out asked me if I was genderqueer. Which is okay, she thinks she's bi, and tells me all about that. Shes the only one who kinda knows about it. But I don't want to annoy her about it all the time, and I'm still a bit uncomfortable talking with her about it. x.x)

So yes, I hope you can all accept me and we can talk! Because I like to talk... <3

Yo'z Kyoshi, welcome to the Susan's jam! 8)
Just sit back, have some icecream and scroll around some threads to find whatever answers you're looking for -- you're welcome here, and really; no one's stupid (narzville)... Oh and as for binding: I suggest to get an actual binder in case you're using cloth or the like. ;)

Thanks for the welcomes! ^^

@ no_id - I've used ace bandages. An actual binder? I don't know how I would get my hands on one of those.

Well, overal bandages are not considered the best material for binding: it's hard to apply equally and due to the numerous layers the cloth doesn't breathe which can cause skin irritation, rash etc. (not what you are aiming for I suppose). However, depending on your cup size you could try a frog bra with a thin layer of bandages -- it should be rather effective. Yet, to give you an idea of actual binders, the following sites may help: http://www.t-kingdom.com/ and http://www.underworks.com/  8)

I was thinking about the frog bra. I'm cup size B.
I've heard of underworks before, but not T-Kingdom! Those I like! Thanks for the link! ^^

Hello, Kyoshi,

Please feel welcome here.  I believe that everyone has at least one piece of the puzzle that we all are trying to solve.  As far as I can tell, acceptance here is never a problem.

Enjoy!

きょし様へ;

スサンの所へようこそ!

きょしさんは日本人ですか?それは違いと恥ずかしいに成るね... でも、きょしさんの書いた英語には日本語が少しだけ聞こえる、と思います。

よろしくお願いします;

カレン

Greetings, Kyoshi;

If you're not Japanese, I've just embarrassed myself in front of you and the rest of the membership of Susan's Place.

Welcome!  ;)

Karen

Thanks everyone! You're all so nice!

I really don't know where I should get started in talking though.  ;D

@ Karen:
And no, I'm not 日本語, sorry. ^^;
But that shouldn't be embarrassing!
But I picked up a little bit of that, so it made me feel a little smart! XD
(Yay for me getting loads better with ひらがな!)
You should teach me some Japanese LOL!
