Title: The Cobra STP
Post by: TJ_Smith1991 on September 10, 2015, 05:23:42 AM
Hi all I suppose I'm probably annoying you all with my posts. But would like some help. I bought a ec lifecast and I seem to cant get the grip of it. I mean I keep messing myself and I know its due to the product and not me cos I'm placing it right. Anyway I've bought a DIY The Cobra stp its just like a o2 mask with tubing. Now I cant seem to find any reviews or anything that anybody has actually bought this. I'm hoping it will work because I'm now starting to get really annoyed with myself because I feel like I've wasted $200 on something thats making me twice as crap than I did in the first place.. Reaally appreciate any help anybody could give me on this matter of crappieness :) thanks AJ

STPs are extremely discouraging, to me at least. I had the cobra type because I wanted to try something else that wasn't the Peecock. It didn't work at all for me and I couldn't really figure out how to wear it in my pants. I didn't want to have to sit there and fiddle with something then line it up with my body. I just wanted to be able to whip it out and pee with out messing up my pants. Unfortunately STPs take a lot of practice. I did ok with the Freetom Sleek sometimes I got lucky and didn't leak (used it a handful of times at a urinal). I felt like it was too big to pack with and probably looked weird at urinals.  I ended up buying the Freetom Buddy and I was able to pee with it like 2 times in my own bathroom. All other times were absolute failures. The plus side to it is it makes a nice packer and looks really awesome. Don't feel bad I've spent more than 2 grand on STPs.. lol just keep trying new things until you find the one that fits you. I'm still on the hunt that's for sure ;)

The appropriate flaccid length of a cis male.  STPs right every time.  You can't go wrong with this.

I've been back and forth and leaning towards trying out the Transthetics EZP. I did send an email asking about the color matching but never got a response :/. He's probably super busy anyways and also gets thousands of emails asking the same questions. I wonder if he can color match my buddy stp since it's the perfect color.

I just ventured into the STP area...bought my first "high end" one last week. I got a used reelmagik and so far I'm really happy with it. I practiced a few times and eventually got the hang of it. It's definitely a learning experience but so far so good.

Usually, he is super fast with answering.  I would write him again, I am sure he will be apologetic for missing it.

It seems to me he is open to any kind of matching.  It is like an extra $100 or so, though.

I think that the medium shade he makes en mass works really well.  It isn't super light in color.  I think the reddish type hue that it has to it works well for a wide range of caucasian skin types.  i never have read a review where the color was not suitable.

Yeah I'll have to shoot him another e-mail and look into this more. I've never seen any negative reviews about his product at all. I've read people having a few issues with it at first but after awhile they all seem to get the hang of it. My e-mail probably got lost in the sea :P

I e-mailed Alex this morning and he just got back to me. Looks like I can send my Freetom to him and he will color match it!!! I'll be ordering in the next few weeks and do a little review ;)
