Title: Orchi
Post by: Pebblez on September 20, 2015, 02:45:45 AM
Been on hormones for over a year now and would like to get an orchi soon. I have no ft under my belt and was hoping for suggestions on surgeons that would do without ft. Can get references stating how long I've been and therapist letter too. Also hopefully not super far off the 1500$ mark.

Would be grateful the help.

Depends where you are and where the doctor stands on the WPATH stuff. You could find a urologist practically anywhere, whether they will do the surgery is another question. You're going to need it in a hospital and an anesthesiologist, so it may be more than 1.5k. I've heard of them being anywhere around 2.8k - 4k from a podcaster who had been price shopping in CA several years ago. Not sure if any of that helps though.

Here in Oklahoma you have to have one year of full time with a letter and it runs $6,000 without insurance. Your insurance may make it cheaper just need to read the fine print on your policy. :)
