Has anyone here had any experience/research for Dr. Gary Smotrich in Lawrenceville, NJ? Any results to share? What was your experience like?
Please help with this, I'd really like to get my surgery done with him but I see absolutely no reviews of him by trans people.

Hi difficool,
There is a top surgery board on here that may attract more attention for your post. I personally haven't heard of Dr. Smotrich at all. I don't see any results for him posted on Transbucket, and a Youtube search doesn't turn up anything. It looks like his primary focus is on general plastic surgery.
That in itself shouldn't deter you. I had two very good consultations with general plastic surgeons in my area, and they were both very friendly, affirming, and knowledgeable about the procedure. But I was looking for someone with a greater amount of trans experience.
Is there a specific reason why you're inclined to go to him if you haven't seen any of his results? There are some really excellent surgeons in the mid Atlantic region who have a great deal of experience working with transmen if geography is your biggest consideration. To that end, I can't speak highly enough about Dr. Fischer in Baltimore.
